It’s been quite a while since I published a post, and I missed the last couple of monthly favorites. Life has been extremely hectic as my little one has become more active. He seriously leaves me with little time to tend to my blog, or myself for that matter! Oh well…here’s a peak into what my January (well and most of December) looks like so far.
First of, the Dafni brush. I know I purchased it only a month ago, but it has been a life-saver, and seriously a joy to use! We went to Lebanon in early January, and I can’t tell you how much precious time I saved getting ready by using it during the one week I was there.
Now that the weather is colder in Dubai, I have brought out my Chantecaille Future Skin foundation. It feels so light, gives a skin-like finish and has good lasting power. Also, Chamomile is a PERFECT match for me, so double thumbs up for this one!
Now you guys know how much I love my Gucci products (here and here), but my favorites have to be their lipsticks. They are SO moisturizing, have great color payoff and just look great. The shade I’ve been wearing most lately is Heartbreaker, a dark plummy pink. Next on the list is Dior Fix It. It is basically a hydrating multi-purpose concealer; you can either use it to conceal dark circles, cover blemishes or prime the lips. I bought it in the intention to use it solely as a lip primer, but I found myself reaching out for it in Lebanon after I realized I had forgotten to pack a concealer for my under-eyes! Turns out it excels at both! I love how it moisturizes the lips without leaving them feeling ‘slippery’ as most other lip balms do – I just blot out any excess product and apply lip liner and lipstick. The end result is quite long-lasting…
I don’t know what took me so long to try out Anastasia Beverly Hills products, but I fell in love with Brow Wiz. It is PERFECT for defining and filling in my eyebrows, without giving off that dreaded caterpillar effect. I think every girl needs one in her arsenal!
What products have you been loving this month?!
Great post! Love the lipstick color.

I want. No I NEED that brush!! I have 30 inch hair or longer and a 8 month old boy so I constantly have my hair as messy as could be I think it will be a time and life saver to look half way decent.

I totally understand! My son was around the same age when I bought mine; it’s definitely a life-saver!
