I recently ventured into the realm of face-sculpting cream products with my AOM Cosmetics Highlight and Contour Sticks in shades light and medium, respectively. They are highly pigmented, high coverage products so a bit of product goes a long way! I like applying them with a brush as opposed to directly from the stick, and blending them out with a beauty blender. Having oily skin means I definitely need to set them, like anything else that goes on my face, with powder. For that I use my Kevyn Aucoin Celestial and Sculpting Powders or Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder which i adore.
In general, cream products are more forgiving than powders – they can be blended easier and give softer results. However, as easy as it is to use these highlight and contour sticks, I would personally only reach out for them, just like any other high coverage product, for going out at night or special occasions.
