I am literally obsessed with the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet foundation. For one, it feels very light on the skin, as if you’re not wearing makeup at all! The coverage is light to medium but can be easily buildable for a still natural finish. Its liquid-to-powder formula makes it matte, but that wears off to a more radiant and never oily finish as the day progresses, making it great for combination to oily skin. Even though it is matte, I still like to set it lightly with powder. This foundation has the signature Chanel fragrance to it so watch out if you are irritated by that.
Although a lot of people complain about the packaging, I find it very convenient especially for travelling. I would prefer it over a glass bottle anytime. The only disadvantage to the chic black color of the packaging is the inability to find out when you’re running out of product.
I have it in B30, which might be a tad bit too light sometimes, so I just dust my face with my trusted Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder after applying it.
