I first heard of the Ellis Faas makeup line from the renowned Youtube makeup guru, Wayne Goss. I was even more intrigued to try her products when I found out her line is influenced by colors that exist in the human body. Imagine my pleasure when I stumbled upon a small boutique that carries Ellis Faas products in Gent, Belgium back in October.
I ended up buying a couple of lipsticks and eyeshadows and I will be reviewing the Creamy Eyes and Lights shadows today. They are both creamy eyeshadows that come in ‘twistable’ pen form with bristles on the other end. It took me a lot of twists to release some product, and in the end a lot came out which was a bit of a waste. Apart from that, I only have positive things to say about them.
The colors I chose are Creamy Eyes E104, a gorgeous mix between brown and grey that is suitable for everyday wear, and Lights in E303, a very shiny bronze. They both come out creamy but set dry quickly. The formula goes on smoothly on the lids and does not settle into creases after it sets. It is also very long-lasting. In brief, I am absolutely in love with my purchases!
