My review of the Dior Star foundation and concealer

Dior Star Foundation

Dior’s newest foundation addition, the Dior Star Foundation in the shade 30, is the first foundation I ever buy from the brand. I’ve tried older versions but never felt compelled to buy any of them. This gives medium coverage without looking cakey or made up.  It does not irritate my skin, nor does it break me out. Even though I set it with powder, I still find that my face starts to ‘glow’ as the day progresses, but it’s nothing some blotting would not take care of. Unless I look in a magnifying mirror, the foundation does not look blotchy 6 hours after applying. I can see myself reaching out for it all throughout ‘winter’ in Dubai, but I don’t think it will fare as well when the humidity increases again.

Dior Star Concealer

I have the shade 30. On good days, when my dark circles are not standing out, this concealer works perfectly to cover. It does not crease and seems to brighten up the under-eye area. On days when a corrector is needed before it, I find the shade I have too dark for me, although it still covers and doesn’t cake up. My suggestion would be to go a shade lighter than you normally would if planning to use it with a corrector.
