The weather is finally great in Dubai and people can enjoy sitting outdoors. That’s never an excuse to ditch bronzer and/or contouring though. In my book, some definition is always necessary. I have been trying out the Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow for over a month now and I must say I like it very much!
At first I was hesitant to buy this palette, mainly because I found the sculpting shade to be too warm for my taste – I usually prefer contouring colors to have more of a grey undertone. It also has apparent little specks of golden shimmer that I thought would show up on the face once the powder is applied. However, my worries were put to rest when I first tried it. The sculpting shade proved to be perfect for an everyday defined look.
The highlighting shade is shimmery but seems to give off more of a champagne-pearly illuminated effect with a mere swipe of your brush. More importantly, it does not give off a slick oily effect nor does it emphasize any pores like some other highlighters do. In general, both powders are finely milled and glide softly over the face without any grittiness.
Not only is it convenient to have both a contouring and highlighting shade in one palette, but the golden packaging is also very sleek and luxurious. I also think the colors chosen for both shades would suit a wide variety of skin tones. In brief, the Bronze and Glow is a joy to have in your makeup bag, all year long!
