Empties #1 – October

Empties 1_s

This is the first post of my Empties Series, where I share all the products that I’ve currently used up and let you know if they are worth a repurchase.

Orlane Serum Super-Hydratant

The Super-Moisturizing Serum is meant to be used day and night under moisturizer. I feel its effects immediately – it hydrates my skin and leaves it soft and supple. I have gone through several already. Orlane has recently discontinued this product but has launched another to replace it which I can’t wait to try – hope it measures up!

Bioderma Sensibio H2O Solution Micellaire

This has been my go-to makeup cleanser for more than 2 years. It is gentle and does not irritate my sensitive skin nor does it exacerbate my acne. It also removes eye makeup effortlessly unless the eyeliner or mascara used are extremely waterproof – in that case, I just use an oil-based eye-makeup cleanser instead to avoid tugging on the thin skin around the eye. I used to buy the 1 L size of it but it has been out of stock the last 2-3 months so I have settled for the smaller 500 ml size instead.

Bath and Body Works Body Lotion

This body lotion holds a lot of sentimental value for me. I was first introduced to Bath & Body Works when I went to the States as a teenager and still cannot help buying their products till now. This lotion is rich enough to quench dry skin but sinks in quickly without leaving a residue or an oily film on the skin. Warm Vanilla Sugar is my favorite scent but I do try out others every once in while.
