Although this is marketed as a moisturizer by Dermalogica, the sales ladies at their store in Dubai Mall said it is made to be used daily after serum and before moisturizer but advised me to use it as a moisturizer under my makeup on my sensitive, combination skin. I feel it works great for that, acting as a primer to prolong my makeup and keep my face shine free longer, especially during the Dubai summer heat. It has silicones in it, which is very obvious from its texture, however, it does not break me out like silicone-laden primers usually do. On the contrary, it helps reduce any redness or irritation from blemishes or minor skin sensitivities. As it is not overly moisturizing, I’m not sure how it would fare in colder weather or on drier skin.
